Jewish Home’s Debbie McIlveen Honored as an RBJ Financial Executive of the Year

April 16, 2018— Jewish Home announces that Debbie McIlveen, Senior Vice President and CFO, is being honored with a Financial Executive of the Year Award, presented by the Rochester Chapter of Financial Executives International and the Rochester Business Journal. Now in their 10th year, these awards recognize financial executives who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the Greater Rochester community during the past year. McIlveen is one of 16 honored.

McIlveen has been with Jewish Home for more than 30 years, managing the organization’s day-to-day financial well-being, providing input on operations and growth to ensure long-term viability and overseeing HIPAA, Corporate Compliance, Information Technology and Materials Management.  She serves on the Finance Committee of FLPPS (Finger Lakes Performing Provider System). She is a former committee member for the New York State Association of Homes and Services of the Aging and previously held executive positions on the Rochester Chapter of the Health Care Financial Management Association.

“Debbie has a very unique ability to not only wear the visor of a finance person, but also the hat of an operator,” said Mike King, CEO of Jewish Home. “She understands operations and our mission to take care of the most frail and vulnerable. Her eyes are not just on the bottom line, but more focused on making sure that we spend money wisely so that it will benefit those we serve.”

McIlveen will be honored at the award luncheon on May 24 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
