Jewish Home’s Short-Term Rehabilitation Program Named One of Best in Nation By U.S. News & World Report

Rochester, N.Y., November 16, 2021 — The Jewish Home of Rochester’s mySuccess™ Short-Term Rehabilitation Program has been nationally recognized for excellence in care for a fourth year, ranking among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes Short-Term Rehabilitation 2021-22. Only 3 out of 51 nursing homes in Monroe County received this designation.

Ratings were given in designations of High-Performing, Average, or Below Average. The Jewish Home was ranked as High-Performing for Short-Term Rehabilitation. Of the more than 13,000 facilities nationwide only 12% received the High-Performing rating.

The data used to evaluate these facilities come from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) and include metrics of nurse staffing, COVID-19 staff vaccination rates of at least 75%, patient outcomes, facility complaints, patient safety and rehabilitation therapy.

mySuccess is a program of the Jewish Home, which was was recently awarded 5 Stars from CMS, the highest possible rating. The Jewish Home has received a top ranking (First Quintile) from the New York State Department of Health’s Nursing Home Quality Initiative program, which recognizes top nursing homes based on quality, compliance and efficiency measures. The Jewish Home is also recognized as a Newsweek Best Nursing Home 2021-22. The Jewish Home is an affiliate of Jewish Home.
