(January 19, 2024 – ROCHESTER, NY) For the second year in a row, three Jewish Home employees have been recognized as Health Care Heroes honorees by Rochester Business Journal (RBJ). The annual RBJ Health Care Heroes awards honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care in the Rochester area.
Yvonne Butman, Director of Social Work, will be recognized in the Management category for her significant contributions to Jewish Home’s Green House® Cottages training and campus expansion project, management of COVID-19 communications, and her overall positive and warm demeanor with residents, families, and staff. Doria Joyce-Rocchio, Program Director for Living Well Companion Care, will be honored in the Senior Care category for her efficient and effective management of care for residents across the Jewish Home campus and in the Greater Rochester community. Andrea Oser, RN Clinical Coordinator for Jewish Home’s short-term rehabilitation program, will be acknowledged in the Nursing category for her superior organizational and leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of her patients and families.
