(November 19, 2025 – Rochester, NY) — Jewish Home recently celebrated employees at the annual Arthur & Louise Wasserman Employee Recognition Awards. The award was established in 1984 by Arthur Wasserman and his three sisters in honor of their aunts, Sarah Lehrer and Dorothy Silver. Both Sarah and Dorothy resided at the Jewish Home, where they benefited from outstanding, compassionate care from staff.
“The Wasserman Employee Recognition Award celebrates individuals who not only excel in their jobs but truly care about our mission in everything they do. Their commitment and impact inspire all of us to do our very best. We are proud to recognize these exceptional team members because they make our organization better every day.”
— Christine Van Vessem, Senior VP, Human Resources & Quality
The annual awards are made possible through the generosity of the Wasserman family, in partnership with the Jewish Home Foundation. They allow peers to recognize top performers who exceed expectations and provide exceptional care every day.
