Adult Day Health Care at Jewish Home is a medical model program that serves adults with special physical and psychosocial needs. Encouraged by staff to increase their self-esteem, social interactions and independence, members who participate in Adult Day Health Care are better able to remain with their caregivers in the community.
We are one of the largest providers of adult day health care services in the greater Rochester area, assisting members Monday-Friday with two sessions to choose from: Days – 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and Afternoons – 1:00-6:00 p.m. Lunch or dinner is provided, depending on the session the member is attending.
Our Adult Day members look out for one another—just like family. We also welcome those who seek activities and social interaction with peers. Since we are a part of Jewish Home, Adult Day members have access to additional programs to stimulate mind and body.
We provide clinical support within the program such as:
In addition, members have the opportunity to participate in activities throughout the day.
Transportation is available in Monroe County through RMT-Rochester Medical Transportation.
Our staff has received certified dementia and memory care training through the Alzheimer’s Association.
