Celebrating Centenarians at Jewish Home

It’s not every day that a lunch conversation between family and friends turns into a discussion about the secrets to living to be 100.

On Nov. 18 at the Summit at Brighton, Jewish Home invited residents who are 100 years of age or older and live in their independent and assisted living communities to do just that — enjoy a lunch together to celebrate their birthdays and exchange stories about how they got to where they are today.

Dr. Morris Shapiro says his secret to health is to keep working. At 102 years old, Shapiro still teaches at the University of Rochester.
