Since memory loss affects people in different ways and in varying degrees, Jewish Home offers a variety of programs and residences for those living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and memory loss.
Marian’s House offers a daytime retreat in a residential, contemporary house in Brighton for people who wish to stay in their homes and are in the early-to-mid stages of dementia.
The Lodge at Wolk Manor Memory Care is a special needs assisted living environment for our residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other types of memory loss who need more regular care and assistance. The Lodge’s small-scale, home-like layout creates relaxed, familiar surroundings for our residents. The space is intimate by design—with private rooms and companion suites that make the Lodge feel small enough to foster a feeling of warmth, comfort and familiarity.
Jewish Home has specialized programs and households for our long-term care residents with more advanced dementia and higher care needs.
In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, we’ve developed a customized education and training curriculum to ensure staff – clinical and non-clinical – has the knowledge and required competencies to care for and support people with memory loss, at any stage. Educational sessions for family caregivers are also provided.
