Jewish Home Breaks Ground on Expansion Project

The $83 million project will transform the long-term care housing into a more homelike setting for residents. Jewish Home President Mike King says the new living spaces will off the opportunity to create a higher standard of living.  

“What we’ve learned is that the environment makes a difference in terms of the way care can be delivered,” said King. “When you create smaller spaces, intimate spaces, relationships flourish between the staff and the elders. Meaningful life starts to happen. A sense of community starts to take place in those small intimate places.”

Residents also look forward to a little more freedom.
