Rochester, NY, September 14, 2020—Jewish Home announces that Jane Knickerbocker, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, has been honored as a Woman of Excellence by the Rochester Business Journal.
“This year’s Women of Excellence honorees demonstrate hard work, professional success, leadership and commitment to the community. In addition, they value the importance of mentoring the next generation,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, group publisher of the Rochester Business Journal. “They are women of longstanding, notable success in the community who are leading the way for other women. We at the Rochester Business Journal are pleased to recognize their incredible accomplishments.” Knickerbocker was honored at a virtual event hosted by the Rochester Business Journal on September 9.
“Jane has increased the brand awareness of Jewish Home,” said Michael King, President and CEO of Jewish Home. “With Jane’s commitment to senior care and her leadership efforts in this very important and strategic area, the Rochester community is now beginning to recognize that we are more than a nursing home.” In addition to her role at Jewish Home, Knickerbocker serves on the boards of directors of both East House and the East House Foundation, and is an Alumni Mentor at SUNY Oswego.
