Rochester, NY—April 8, 2021—Jewish Home, one of the largest employers in Rochester, honored 95 employees for their milestone work anniversaries—a total of 1,150 years—during its annual years of service awards. Among those being honored includes Mable Hall, Assistant Director of Dining Services for 40 years of service.
“I enjoy working for Jewish Senior Life, and I never thought about working anywhere else,” said Hall. “I really do have a great job. The residents make me feel good and I love being able to help them. They are the reason I’ve stayed here so long.”
A Summit at Brighton resident shared her congratulations to Mable on her outstanding achievement. “We can’t say thank you enough to Mable for the wonderful service she has given my husband and I since we’ve lived at the Summit. Last year, the Covid-19 requirements changed everything, but we knew all would still be well at dinner when Mable was on duty. Congratulations Mable, we couldn’t appreciate you more!”
“Our employees play a very important role in enhancing the lives of our residents. They deliver care second to none, and we are very thankful for them,” said Emy Giacalone, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Jewish Home. “We congratulate each of these employees for their milestone achievements and are grateful every day for their dedication to our organization.”
Jewish Home employs more than 1,000 people and was named a Great Place to Work® by the Great Place to Work Institute. The organization aims to enhance the quality of life, health, and wellbeing of residents and their families, giving employees a chance to make a difference in the lives of the senior community every day.
