Jewish Home Honors Wolk Manor Employees with Brodsky-Grossman Recognition Awards

(November 7, 2022 – ROCHESTER, NY) Jewish Home recently celebrated 8 employees for their dedication and service to Wolk Manor assisted living residents with its annual Brodsky-Grossman Employee Recognition Awards.

Hamid Kharmaz, Resident Assistant Team Lead, Mary Baxter, Concierge, and Afton Sharp, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), were the 2022 award winners. “We are so proud to recognize Hamid, Mary, and Afton as our annual Brodsky-Grossman Award winners,” says Susan Bussey, Senior Vice President of Housing at Jewish Home. “We appreciate their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for our Wolk Manor residents.”

The Brodsky-Grossman Recognition Award was established in 2001 by the family of Sam and Betty Brodsky, former residents at Wolk Manor. “The family members of Sam and Betty Brodsky were very moved by the compassionate care given to their parents,” says Thomas McDade Clay, Executive Director of Jewish Home Foundation. “Over 2 decades later, we are delighted to offer residents and their families the opportunity to recognize staff for the exceptional quality of care we are providing at Wolk Manor.”

The 3 annual winners were presented with an engraved plaque and a monetary award; and all nominated staff received a certificate of achievement.
