Jewish Home Presents Annual Leon Rosen Excellence in Customer Service Awards

(November 7, 2022 – ROCHESTER, NY) Jewish Home recently recognized 4 employees for providing superior dedication and service to Jewish Home of Rochester residents with its annual Leon Rosen Exceptional Customer Service and Superstar Awards. “Take an extra second and do it right,” was one of Leon Rosen’s favorite sayings and the annual awards honor the concept that anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Nancy Gilmore and Jacque Cross Hancock, both Adirim at the Green House Cottages at the Jewish Home, were the recipients of the Exceptional Customer Service Awards. Patricia Palmer and Mary Pellicane, Adirim at the Green House Cottages, were this year’s Superstar Award winners.

In the letters given to this year’s recipients, Rosen’s children, Ellen Rosen Konar and Richard Rosen, wrote, “When your loved one enters a residential facility you assume they will be cared for. But what you fervently hope for is that they will be cared about. It’s the simple things that show respect and can profoundly impact those in your care. The nominations submitted on your behalf demonstrate that you understand that dynamic. We hope this recognition will continue to inspire you, and in turn inspire those around you.”

In addition to the personalized letter from the Rosen family, honorees were presented with an engraved plaque and a certificate of achievement.
