Rochester Business Journal Readers Rank Jewish Home “Tops”

(JULY 28, 2023 – ROCHESTER, NY) Jewish Home believes there is no greater recognition than one that comes from the Rochester community, and was honored to receive three 2023 Rochester Business Journal Reader Rankings Awards at a celebration July 27.

Top winner designations were awarded to The Summit at Brighton independent living for Best Retirement Community, and to Wolk Manor assisted living in the Best Assisted Living Community category. In addition, Jewish Home was honored as a Best Overall Employer winner (500-1000 employees).

“We are especially honored to be recognized by votes from the Greater Rochester community and people whose lives we have touched,” says Michael S. King, President and CEO of Jewish Senior Life. “We are proud to be known as a great place to live and work.”

“All of this year’s honorees should be incredibly proud,” says Ben Jacobs, RBJ Associate Publisher and Editor. “Especially as they’ve maintained their excellent reputation with their customers amidst very difficult business circumstances.”

This year’s Reader Ranking Awards had over 13,000 nominations in businesses in the Rochester area. The five companies that received the most votes advanced to the voting round, which had over 30,000 votes to determine the winners.
