(August 7, 2023—ROCHESTER, NY) Jewish Senior Life is pleased to announce that Wendy Ferrer has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Housing and Marketing. A seasoned professional with over 20 years of healthcare experience, Ferrer previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In her new role, she will direct the day-to-day functions of the independent and enriched housing communities at Jewish Home to ensure the highest level of quality care.

“As a member of the senior management team, Wendy has been instrumental in developing and implementing marketing and sales initiatives that have propelled our reputation as a leader in innovative, high-quality, resident-focused services,” says Michael S. King, Jewish Senior Life President and CEO. In her new post, Ferrer will continue to lead Jewish Home’s overall marketing, sales, and brand strategies. Recruitment is underway for the Director of Marketing who will lead the marketing team and report to Ferrer.

“I have found Wendy to be an active listener who is very responsive to concerns,” King comments. “I look forward to her leadership as we continue to focus on our current residents and families, while continuing to focus on enhancing our services and programs,” he adds.
