(JUNE 27, 2024 – ROCHESTER, NY) Jewish Home recently added a new line of business to their array of services. TekHub Solutions is a technology consulting business which aims to provide innovative and reliable solutions for communities and organizations serving older adults.
The TekHub Solutions team consists of software and information technology infrastructure experts with several decades of experience developing commercial solutions, as well as several products that have been exclusive to Jewish Home. The overall goal is to provide solutions to help aging services providers improve the lives of older adults and their families.
At the helm of TekHub Solutions is Jewish Home’s Chief Technology Officer Chris Zoellick, and Principal Infrastructure Architect Matt Taggart, with support from Jewish Home’s Information Technology department and interns from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business. Over the past several years, Jewish Home has worked closely with Saunders to research how new technology impacts and improves the lives of seniors. This collaboration resulted in the launch of the TekHub Den in 2020—formerly known as the original TekHub—which provides technical support services to residents at The Summit, Jewish Home’s independent living community.
“Our experience working with a variety of clients combined with a deep understanding of aging services has presented us an opportunity to expand our reach outside the Jewish Home campus,” says Travis Masonis, Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer.
