Prior U.S. News announcement included Jewish Home as “Best Nursing Home 2025”
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two Jewish Home communities have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for their excellence. The Summit Independent Living has been named “Best Independent Living 2025,” while Wolk Manor Assisted Living has been named “Best Assisted Living 2025.” Wolk Manor also earned a “High Performing Nationwide” honor for Care Services.
The data-driven ratings, based on surveys completed by residents and their families, recognize communities that excel at the following: caregiving, staff and management, community life, activities and enrichment, dining, overall value, and fostering a welcoming and secure environment. To determine the 2025 designations, U.S. News analyzed data from more than 440,000 survey responses related to about 3,800 communities nationwide.
One resident of The Summit expressed their satisfaction in a survey response, saying, “I am fortunate to be able to live here! They all make you feel like family, and this is a very well cared for and friendly community. “Family members of residents at Wolk Manor shared positive feedback, including comments like, “My loved one feels safe and is happy,” and “Wolk Manor is truly a home for my mom, and the fantastic and kind staff provides her with great care.”
“We are pleased Jewish Home and our residences continue to be recognized nationally for high quality care and services,” said Wendy Ferrer, Senior Vice President of Housing and Marketing. “Recognition from U.S. News is especially meaningful because the ratings are based on direct feedback from our residents and their families. It’s a source of pride for our dedicated staff to know they make a difference.”
These three 2025 honors follow a previous U.S. News announcement that Jewish Home was recognized as a “Best Nursing Home 2025” for the seventh consecutive year. That announcement also included recognition for Long-Term Care and Short-Term rehabilitation in the “High Performing” category.
