Jewish Home Earns Great Place to Work® Certification for Sixth Consecutive Year

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — For the sixth year in a row, Jewish Home has been certified as a Great Place to Work®, a recognition awarded by the global authority on workplace culture, employee trust, and organizational performance. The certification is based on confidential employee surveys and culture analysis, honoring organizations that foster supportive, engaging, and inclusive environments. This achievement highlights the exceptional employee experience at Jewish Home and signals to job seekers a truly outstanding workplace culture.

“Being certified as a Great Place to Work® for six years in a row is a direct reflection of the culture our employees have built and sustained,” said Christine Van Vessem, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Quality. “This recognition reaffirms our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace grounded in respect, inclusion, and opportunity. Our employees are the heart of what we do, and their feedback continues to shape our culture in meaningful ways, focused on delivering a high quality of care, support, and service to those we serve and each other.”

One anonymous employee shared in the survey, “The organization is progressive. Having 14 lines of business that support the community both on and off campus contributes to making this a great place to work. Programs like Project Search® and the addition of Job Path show the organization’s commitment to growth and improvement.” Another commented that “Jewish Home is a total package employer, with a solid management structure, strong hiring practices, and, most importantly, an environment that supports employees’ mental and physical well-being.”

This certification reflects the strong, inclusive culture Jewish Home has cultivated, one that values growth, innovation, and the well-being of its employees. With diverse programs and a supportive environment, Jewish Home remains committed to fostering a workplace where both staff and the community thrive.

“We’re truly grateful to have such an incredible team whose dedication and kindness make all the difference every day,” said Michael S. King, President and CEO. “Being recognized as a Great Place to Work® for six years in a row is a testament to the passion and heart our employees bring to the Jewish Home family. It’s their commitment that makes this more than just a workplace, it’s a community.”
