Marian’s House offers daytime respite for people with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s and other related dementias, offering meals, activities, supervision, and specialized programming in a warm, residential setting.

A Welcoming Memory Care Retreat
On behalf of The Farash Foundation, Marian’s House is named in honor and of blessed memory of Marian M. Farash. The house, located at 2980 S. Clinton Avenue in the town of Brighton, is specially designed for both one-on-one interaction and group activities and includes these amenities:
- A large open kitchen and eating area so guests can be a part of meal preparation
- A family room with ample space for cultural art activities, such as musical performances and painting
- Small quiet areas for peaceful relaxation
- A bright, cheerful, three-season common area
- An enclosed courtyard with two raised garden beds, a walking path, and space for lawn games
- Full-day services include a light breakfast, full lunch, and dessert
Activities
Activities at Marian’s House center on everyday life, such as cooking, gardening, exercising, reading, and games. Guests are encouraged to participate as much as they are able and willing. A program manager with expertise in the field of memory care supervises all activities and services.*
Marian’s House guests can come for either all or part of the day. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, except holidays. Caregivers must reserve space for the day(s) they wish their loved one to attend.
